Tattoos
1. Remove bandage after 3-6 hours and wash with mild soap in warm water. Be sure to remove all plasma. Pat or let air dry for 15 minutes.
Never Re-bandage!
2. For three days, apply a small amount of antibacterial ointment.
(e.g, Neosporin, Polysporin, or similar).
Pat off excess ointment, Don't rub it off! You might damage your tattoo.
3. After three days switch to plain fragrance free white hand lotion.
(e.g. Lubriderm, Vaseline Intensive Care, etc...) Apply normally.
4. Tattoo will begin to flake and peel like a sunburn - this is normal.
5. Do NOT pick the flakes off or scratch the tattoo! Yeah, we know it itches. This may cause both ink to fall out and unwanted scarring. THAT WOULD BE BAD.
6. Avoid tight clothing for the first two weeks.
7. Wash your tattoo once daily in the shower.
8. DO NOT soak or submerge the tattoo in water for at least two weeks (especially public swimming pools).
9. If you have any questions, call your tattoo artist immediately.
